What makes Creative Ice Sculptures the Best?

Creative Ice Sculptures gives you the choice of either individual hand carved sculptures of crystal clear ice or the more popular moulded sculptures, which can be coloured to suit the room or theme of the occasion. Whichever you choose, Creative Ice Sculptures will ensure on time delivery and set up - we know how to do it right! We have a fantastic reputation in the industry amongst venues and other wedding service providers.

Where should my Ice Sculpture be placed?

It really is up to you. In the case of a wedding, some couples display their sculptures in the foyer, on the gift table, on either side of the bridal table or alongside the cake. The sculptures also look great when used as part of buffet or in the bar area. The size, shape and layout of the room should also influence your decision on where to place your sculpture. Ask your function co-ordinator for their recommendation.

How long will my Ice Sculpture last?

All our sculptures are designed to have a "show life" of between 4 to 8 hours. The size and volume of the sculpture effects its life (the larger the piece - the longer it lasts). Eg. The Double Heart has a show life of 4 hours, whilst the Classic Swan or the Cupid has a show life in excess of 6 hours. Most Ice Sculptures will take a day or two to completely melt away. Once the fine detail melts away you are still left with the silhouette of the sculpture, this is what is meant by showlife but many other factors can also influence the rate in which the sculpture melts. All our sculptures easily last the length of the average reception. Were happy to advise you of the average length of time each sculpture will last when you make your booking.

How much will it weigh?

Our smallest pieces weigh from 5kg, whilst a single block carving can weigh as much as 150kg. Our most popular sculptures weigh in the 50-70kg range.

Where does the water go?

As your sculpture melts, water is collected either in our self-contained drip tray or travels via a hose to a bucket underneath the table. No water drips onto the floor. Our trays are white and do look lovely with greenery and flowers around them, which you can provide yourself or we can do for you at a minimal cost.

What is included in the price?

As well as your sculpture, the price includes our unique self-contained drip tray hire, on time delivery and set up and the cubed ice to compliment the display. All we ask is that you let your function co-ordinator know where the ice sculpture is to be placed and that they have a table with a full length tablecloth ready for us.

Optional extras

Flower arrangements, candles and balloons for the back of the classic or table swans are available, also halo or bow and arrows for the cupids. We can also supply tray decorator ie ribbon to blend in with your table colours or theme, flowers and greenery as mentioned above. We also hire out our lovely pedestals, which make an elegant display and give the ice sculptures more height than a normal table.

How much notice do you need?

As soon as you decide you would like an Ice Sculpture at your function, place a booking as we can only deliver a certain number in one day and we don't like people being disappointed. This allows us to have your Ice Sculpture completed and "hardened" before delivery. Your sculpture will have a better show life if it is hardened in our freezers for a couple of days before delivery. We require a 50% deposit on booking and the balance no later than one month prior to your event. Last minute orders are welcome, although we cannot guarantee your chosen design or colour.
